Prevention Services
Educating young people about substance abuse is the primary role of Threshold’s Drug Prevention Counselors. Through individual counseling and group work, services are provided for young people experiencing substance abuse, personal, emotional, family or other problems that interfere with healthy living.

We provide:

• Individual/Group Counseling
• Crisis Counseling
• Drug Prevention Programs
• Life Skills Groups
• Support Groups
• Referral Services

During the summer months, Threshold runs a “Summer Enrichment Program” for young people ages 12-15.

In addition to services provided at Threshold’s downtown site, services are also available at the following sites:

• Jefferson Middle School
• Wilson High School
• Pre-Trial Services
