When do GED classes start?
September, November, February, and May.
Mini-orientations are held routinely, however applications are always accepted.

What are the class hours?
Classes are in two sessions; mornings and afternoons.
Mornings: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Afternoons: 1:00 pm  - 4:00 pm

Do you have vocational training classes?
Vocational training classes are included in the GED prep classes. Additionally, enrichment classes includes, but not limited too, health education, life skills, and economic literacy.

What is the age requirement?    17-25 years of age

What is the criterion?
New York State Identification card: We only accept driver’s licenses, non-driver’s ID, and learner’s permit. The temporary ID is good only for enrollment. (This is the white slip given at DMV).

When is the deadline to enroll?
Enrollment is year-round. Mass orientations are noted above.

Need to come with a Parent?  No, but parental involvement is ideal.

Completed applications can be faxed.

What is the length of classes for completion?
TABE tests are administered routinely. Classes are performance-based and individualized. GED Predictor tests help determines when students will take the GED exam.

Do returning students need ID and have to retest?
Yes
